I think I've played enough with South Africa for now; I have a relatively decent grasp of economics, but I'd like to try to learn how the military system works in this game.

Any country recommendations?

israel? they seem to get involed in a lot of wars, maybe beacasue the arabs hate them.

tips wise, don't rush unless you have the forces to keep you sercure and early on only the roads matter as anything but recon cant supply itself off of roads.
