The geographical taxonomy used in the game is Continent/Region/Area/Province/City.
* Continent is the broadest geographical area.
* There may be several Regions per Continent.
* There may be several Areas per Region.
* There may be several Provinces per Area.
* A province may have a city.
The post titles indicate which Regions are contained in that post. The regions belong to Continents as follows:
* Africa:
- East Africa
- North Africa
- West Africa
* America:
- Carribean
- Central America

- North America

- China
- India
- Indochina
- Indonesia
- Japan

The information reported on each province is as follows:
1) Province ID - This ID is used throughout the game to identify a province.
2) Area - The area this province belongs to.
3) Name - Province name.
4) Capitol - The capitol city of the province.
5) Religion - The initial religion of the province. That is, what is used in the 1419 scenario. Note that Protestent and Reformed values in this file are overridden by Catholic in pre-Reformation scenarios. These values are used to indicate religious preference once Reformation and Calvinism occurs.
6) Culture - The initial culture of the province, used in the 1419 scenario.
7) Manpower - The initial manpower value of the province, used in the 1419 scenario.
8) Income - The initial income value of the province, used in the 1419 scenario.
9) Goods(mine) - The initial goods produced by the province, used in the 1419 scenario. If the province has a mine, the mine value is indicated.
