I´m also against editing anything else than rewards, core and culture claims and fixes for being AI.

Edits will be reduced to a minimum.

I vote for vanilla
Ban synchronised looting
Ban making a 100 ship fleet of transports or galleys
I'd also like to ban TAs totally :D

Trade Agreements? We can hardly ban that - we would break each others monopolies all the time.

I can't believe that Vanilla has taken the lead over Watk. :(

I am in favor of banning the 100 ship thing. But im against banning synchronized looting.

I would like a restriction of trade agreements too. It doesnt have to be a full restriction. Im ok with limiting it to maximal 2 agreements. So everyone has to choose and we dont get the big trade blocks as usual.

And i want to use random leaders, which stats depend on the date...

Starting in 4 weeks is perfect for me.

I want to use watk 1419 or 1453! :)

My nation choices (i will change it maybe, if we use a unexpected scen or start date):

1. England
2. OE
3. Russia

Don't know how I could control TAs. Btw, big trading blocks are the reality of history. Would like to have as few rules as possible. Complications with TA are the last thing on my mind.

TAs were not even open for voting but vote... My vote goes against any kind of reductions in TAs.

I may be up for it, but would have some difficulty making the time. So, if you're still looking for players close to when this starts, feel free to PM me (I may forget to visit the thread), but I might have to miss a session occasionally.

That is the point Nab, it stops the traders from holding a permanent monopoly in their CoTs and 5 merchants in everyone elses.

As you can no doubt see doing so requires no skill and makes the traders even richer than they already are.

See here for an example to TA stupidity

And controlling it is easy enough, simply say "Do not sign TAs/Do not sign TAs with more than xxx countries" and if anyone sees anyone abusing it tell them to stop. It is not hard to monitor, just check the diplomacy screen.

Too bad you are playing on a sunday, otherwise I would be glad to join this game.

Good luck with the game - if you need a sub, just ICQ or PM me, I might be able to play one or two sundays every now and then. :)

Ok. I voted against. You two voted for ban of TAs. Untill further votes it is banned.

I never have more then 1 or 2 permanent TAs anyway. It hurts my income too much. With MI over 1000 it hurts even more. I usually have one permanent TA and all others are very temporary.

But if we implement that rule you and Abs are promoted to TA GMs Bob. Take care of that because I won't.

you dont know, how you could controll tas?? thats funny, how do you think you could controll the exploration as example? how did we controll the forbidden map exchanges with ai nations all the time in a precise way??

Never controlled anyone and never thought about that

Therefore a bit of help from Bob and Absolut won't hurt. I don't expect anyone to break rules intentionally so if a mistake happens, six eyes will see it sooner then two. The rest of you can also help with observations but if you play half as focused on your country as I do with mine... better to appoint someone officially.
