Mirror Sphere (Potential Spoiler)

So I'm absolutely stuck right now with these Mirror Sphere things. It's absolutely stopped my progress for the last 60 Sols. Everything is in a deep freeze, and I can't figure out how to stop the dang thing.

So far, I've done the "- "Sphere Protection" and "Purpose of the Spheres" research, as well as the "Xeno-Terraforming research". Is there something I should be doing now that I am not aware of?

Is this just bugged out and I'm screwed or is there something that I missed? Nothing popped up in the Mystery Log. The last entry was on Sol 121... and it's now Sol 184. This is actually killing some of the fun for me. Hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction so that I can move on.

Lot of the msyterys seemed over tuned. The number six one is a living hell that destroys all your drones by blowing them up into your air, water, food building. You can try to rebuild them but more drones get stolen and more stuff gets blown up.

One of the final stages has over fifty drones taken from you blowing everything up. I just quit cause there was no possible way to recover from it

It's frustrating that these mysteries are seemingly game-breaking. I'm not sure how long 100 Sol's are at 3x speed in real hours, but that's how long I've been trying to figure it out. I ended up trapping all but one of the spheres, which now is refusing to move (I think it's bugged). All I wanted to do was progress through the research and see what some of the bigger stuff looked like. Unfortunately, my entire colony is froze and citizens are killing themselves off and dying of dehydration.

Maybe some Dev could give a hint whether this mystery works as intended or if there's something buggy?
