I note on the Paradox download page that the patches for 1.1, 1.2 etal, have different numbered 'mirrors'. I don't know what a 'mirror' means. Should I download Mirror 1 and run it before I do Mirror 2? If I just do #4 will it contain 1-3? I had trouble with misloading before, and want to get it right.

Mirrors are alternative download locations for the main patch download site. This is a common process to distribute the download burden over several locations. Mirrors (like the name suggests) contain exactly the same files as the main download site. So pick just one and download from there.
