All right, I know this is a mod issue, I tried reaching for help in their Discord but we've found no solution to the problem so far, so here I am.

Basically, this only happens with this mod, Star Wars: Fallen Republic, vanilla works fine. Every time I make a save, I can't load it back because it says I'm missing a DLC, the Plantoids Species Pack. I don't have that DLC, so I have no idea what the game is on about. So, I've googled a bit, found out I can edit save files, removed the DLC requirement from the file, it works and I can actually load the save, but then every time I save the game again, make a new save, the same error appears, so I can't progress further, unless I individually edit every new save file that I want to load.

I have no idea what else I can do, and since I usually play this game on GeForce Now and it seems I can't edit cloud saves but only local ones, I'm basically not able to play this mod at all.

EDIT: All right, after all the mod has nothing to do with it, but it's a game issue. Since the mod requires version 3.0.x, I tried creating a new game using the 3.0.4 vanilla version, and the same issue appears. So, it's not a mod issue, but a version one. The up to date version works fine, but not the 3.0.x.

That's odd one, that's for sure. Of course they are not going to go back and change 3.0.4 to fix this, if that's what it requires.

When you reverted did you delete the Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/ folder, or at least the cache folders in it?

Thanks for the answer.
No, I didn't do anything of the sort. Thing is the same issue happened on GeForce Now at first, then, when I tried to play locally on my PC, the same issue still happens, even after creating a new game, both modded and, yesterday, unmodded vanilla. I will still try to delete the folder as you said and see how it goes, then I'll let you know.

Thanks for trying that, shame it didn’t work!

I don’t really have anything else to suggest in this unique situation; I’m sure you don’t want to buy that DLC just to get past this!

That's another weird thing, I did buy the DLC, but the issue was still there, so I just refunded it very quickly

With the DLC enabled you still got errors saying it was missing? It's very hard to understand how that could be.

That was with 3.04 again, with that mod or mods?

That's what happened, I bought the DLC, tried it with the Star Wars: Fallen Republic mod on GeForce Now on 3.0.4, made sure it was enabled and the same error popped up when I tried to load the campaign I played earlier, so I refunded it. I didn't do much else with it and preferred to refund it as soon as possible.
I might've done something wrong then, could be, as I did everything quickly to avoid having issues on the refund, but I'd rather not waste 8€ again on a minor DLC without the certainty that it will solve the issue. I might wait for a sale and try then, perhaps.
At least I'm glad I can play the game on the current version just fine

Thanks for your help by the way. Even tho I wasn't able to solve the issue, at least for the moment, I'm still really glad you tried to help me and I appreciate it very much :)
