All right, I know this is a mod issue, I tried reaching for help in their Discord but we've found no solution to the problem so far, so here I am.
Basically, this only happens with this mod, Star Wars: Fallen Republic, vanilla works fine. Every time I make a save, I can't load it back because it says I'm missing a DLC, the Plantoids Species Pack. I don't have that DLC, so I have no idea what the game is on about. So, I've googled a bit, found out I can edit save files, removed the DLC requirement from the file, it works and I can actually load the save, but then every time I save the game again, make a new save, the same error appears, so I can't progress further, unless I individually edit every new save file that I want to load.
I have no idea what else I can do, and since I usually play this game on GeForce Now and it seems I can't edit cloud saves but only local ones, I'm basically not able to play this mod at all.
EDIT: All right, after all the mod has nothing to do with it, but it's a game issue. Since the mod requires version 3.0.x, I tried creating a new game using the 3.0.4 vanilla version, and the same issue appears. So, it's not a mod issue, but a version one. The up to date version works fine, but not the 3.0.x.
