As the title of this post says, I cannot for the life of me find the Egyptian Empire title in the game. The title search function fails to turn anything up, and a character who meets the requirements (that are shown in the code) cannot make it (tested as the Fatimids in 1066). The title exists in the CK2Plus_titles.txt file, but fails to show up in-game at all. Can anyone tell me how to fix that? Note that I am using the most recent version.

Edit: A bit of another strange thing. If you give the Empire to yourself via console commands, it does nothing, WHILE acknowledging that it exists and that it tried to give it to you, while doing so with another title generally gives you the title, even if nobody holds it.

You have the Charlemagne dlc? If so that's your problem. We make all empires with the same name as a kingdom (unless the empire has special mechanics in which case we turn off the ability to use the custom empire decision from that Kingdom) non active if you have the Charlemagne dlc

We make all pre-made titles which have the same name AND the same flag as the title directly beneath it shut off if you have Charlemagne DLC active -- for the reason Schwar mentions. The title is rendered inactive, which is why you can neither find it with title search nor grant it to yourself via console. This is to prevent confusion (as we don't really expect people to comb through the landed_titles file itself looking for titles to form).

If you really must have that specific title and not simply use the decision, just shut off the Charlemagne DLC when you restart the game. As soon as the maintenance cycle hits, the titles will be re-activated. Then you can form it and, if you wish, restart the game with the DLC reactivated and you'll be fine.

Ah, I see. Fair enough. I wasn't aware of any of what you said previous to this. Thanks for the heads-up. While I was at work today I was thinking about that too. Started thinking, "Why don't I just use the Custom Empire decision?" How silly of me. Thank you very much for the answers, both of you.

hahaha awkward moment when thats something I do a lot

i was wondering that too, i wanted to make the empire to rival the arabian empire and then just play someone else and watch the two duke it out.
