Missing File Privileges

For some reason, my file wont update or play, and the Steam updater says I am "Missing File Privileges". I am unsure what this means. I went and updated the imperator.exe to have admin privileges. Doesn't fix the problem. I've trying verifying the game, everything checked out. What gives? I'd like to play the game, but can't.

If Steam puts up that message it is Steam having the problem. Did you run steam.exe as admin?

Also, what antivirus app do you use?

Actually, I figured it out. Turns out Imperator was still "running" in my tasks, even though I had quit the game days before. Part of what was fixed in the patch, I assume. Anyway, after clearing that out, the game patched! All is well.

Ah, yes, we've seen other reports of that. A bit of an odd error message in the circumstances, but well done on finding it!
