Hi everyone :)

Mixed zones are very common in real cities, residential buildings with shops down. In my opinion is a really good idea, practise too and I'll love to see that in the
game.
So, will there be something like this in Cities: Skyline?
What do you think, guys?

No, because it will be problem with balance in gameplay, but it will be visual aspect with shops down and housing upstairs :) They explained it in the last livestream.

I like those ideas having office and commercial stores on the main floor ,and condo units above .Wouldn't it be great if that same condo unit contained a parking garage underground? Most of the parking spaces could be used the local tenants the rest for public use .you can see vehicles come in and out of the building. May be they can show the parking stalls underground showing how many vehicles are in it like the underground subway systems. This would work well for all the heavy density buildings with no parking lots.

If they can create a building tool that can stack different parts of a building together like leggo blocks that would be ideal. One for the apartment area the others for commercial and underground parking , would be awsum ! Just select the parts you need put them together.

I'm really exciting about the ability to create your own buildings, I have no idea how it will be and maybe, what you say could be a possibility, I think :)
So devs... Can you say something about this, please?

If you like to here more of my ideas on customizing a build. Just go to a posting that I made called industry and commercial connection with employment . I posted something about customizing buildings.

The answer would be to create building with an empty part at the street level. It could be filled with some "shop closed" or "soon opening" facades when no business is present, and a variety of businesses if there is demand. That way creating different businesses would just require the creation of facades of standard sizes.
