Better Looking Garbs

Better Looking Garbs is a portrait overhaul mod combining portrait DLC and custom new material to add diversity in clothing and styles for many of the games cultures. The faces, clothing, hair and beard-styles of each source has been recombined to create new portraits.
These new portraits fill the holes still unserviced with cosmetic DLC and add gradations to the existing portrait sets.
In addition to the portraits there are updates to the army and councillor avatar models.
While based around the use of DLC assets these are not required, an installer will add dependent parts of the mod selectively.

Do you know how to fix the base of the sardinians showing on the forefront? i can't for the life of me figure it out; i checked the location of all 'male_base' in the interface files and they all seem to be in the correct location (below 'male_beard_behind'), one thing to note is that it shows on characters who aren't graphically sardinian too.

Could this be the issue?

So when I try and unzip the betterlookinggarbsextra file it asks me for a password. I don't see any readme file in there that could provide this so I assume this is a bug?

edit: specifically the mongol male headgear dds file is what requires it.

The betterlookinggarbsextra.zip file is extracted by the installer programs.
The files are encrypted to play nice with the rules for redistributing the dlc-assets.

Hi, I'm looking for a bit of help with a problem. Apologies if this seems like a silly issue but I'm new to this mod so I'm still working out how the mod game rules change things. I'm 99% sure my issue is to do with a game rule issue with either the child handling or new character ethnicity rules but I am using other mods so that always throws in complications. My problem is that my kids are 100% of the time not being born as my ethnicity. I wouldn't be bothered by this if my character's spouse was a different ethnicity but they're both the same thing. From my cursory examination of the child handling events, I think that's the issue that's causing my graphically Norse character and his graphically Norse wife to have graphically Gothic kids since they're being born in a Crimean province that started out Gothic before I flipped its culture. In order to disable this behavior do I have to switch the child handling rule all the way off or will changing it to limited work? I notice there's mention of children having the hairstyles of their culture and not just their ethnicity and if that's the case than I suppose I have nothing to worry about since the Goths and Norse look facially identical and my graphically Gothic kids would still have the same hair sets as their graphically Norse parents, right? Thanks for any help!

edit: I was able to find help on the workshop page so no need to reply anymore. :)
