Will this be updated for the last DLC?

Most likely no.

I believe that it is 2.6.3 or so, since it's compatible with Reaper's Due

The Reapers Due version already has some sort of crash-inducing bug that Blood Royal just can't figure the hell out, last I remember.

a very nice mod...if you can add characters for the 2000 movie will be great (i would like to play as profion in this and bring the Empire of Ismier to its knees)
Unlikely as this mod is no longer being worked and it's unknown if the crash from 2.6.3 has a fix yet so unless someone else comes in and fixes the issue and updates I doubt this will happen.

Wait… what movie?
Assuming that you're not pretending that it never existed, but actually know about it, the 2000 Dungeons and Dragons movie actually had its own setting, which was never published because the movie was a complete bomb.

As I stated above, that movie had its own setting, which is not part of Birthright, as far as I know. I don't think there is a map of the setting, so I don't think that a CK2 mod for it could really be made. Also, Damodar > Profion

Oh. I thought he meant a movie related to Birthright itself.

As for the 2000 D&D movie, yeah, let's pretend it never happened…

Yeah, it's a pathfinding CTD for the AI that's hardcoded in occurs in mods where the provinces are "out of order" or something, or there's missing province numbers, which didn't use to be a problem. Happens around every 20 years or so. Paradox was helpful in trying to solve it, however, but it appears that there's more than 1 thing that causes it as it's (so I hear) also affecting some other mods still.

So can't you just redo those province numbers or sth ?

Hope I'm not being obnoxious, but if this version in the second post is the one with unsolvable CTD, then could you perhaps spare a moment to put the last stable version on the net, so that people can rollback their CKII and enjoy this beauty again?

As (very unfortunately) this mod is on permanent standby, at least from my side, due to an unfixable CTD and general modding fatigue, here is a link to its "spiritual successor", the Forgotten Realms mod:

https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/mod-d-d-forgotten-realms.1042010/

It'll have many of the same basic concepts as Birthright, just (hopefully!) better and more up to date with the latest features of CK2 DLCs :)

Any chance of you making at least a compatch for the mod to work with 2.8? I tried to do i myself and now I'm unable to even get to the main menu.

Don't know if my skills are sufficient for the task of updating it...
I managed to get to the main menu with 3.0.1.1 but there is stll a crash when you press Play...
As far as I know something with "Province хх has no pixels in provinces.bmp" is a reason, i'm looking for solution.

A hair pulling fact of CK2 modding is when it comes to crashes, the only use of the error log is that everything in there is guarteed to not be the cause of the crash, error reporting is garbage in this game.

If you really want to try updating the mod ,on the wiki each patch has a mod compatilibity page that details the things needed to be added so it doesn't crash.

Yes, thanks! was going through it for the last week).

For now results are:
1) there is version ported to 3.0.1.1 with loading map/the lobby interface. But there is CTD at starting game.
2) there is version ported to 2.7.2, with repaired CTD when clicking Play in the launcher. But there is a Crash with loading Flags.

The plan is to get playable version of mod with one of patches newer than 2.6.3.
