Version 2.0 (Not yet released!)
(to be published after 1.6 is released next week)
Steam Workshop
The personal union between Sweden and Norway was an important aspect of politics and diplomacy for the two countries. Version 2.0 of the mod takes a major step to better capture this.
- Adding Interest Group ideologies for Personal Union Laws
- Adding a new column of laws with five different law groups for the Personal Union with Norway
By changing the Personal Union laws the "rules" of the Personal Union changes.
* Taxation: Income transfer from Norway to Sweden or no Income transfer.
* Trade Coordination: Convoy contribution from Norway to Sweden or no Convoy contribution.
* Market Integration: Customs Union (led by Sweden) or no Customs Union.
* Military: Mutual defensive pact or no defensive pact.
* Foreign Policy: Norway can initiate diplomatic plays and have subjects or not.
Several laws are clearly beneficial to Sweden, and has support of several influential Interest Groups, making them attractive to pass. The downside is that those laws come with a decrease in the relations between Sweden and Norway, with the risk of Norway turning rebellious if not managed carefully.
Personal Union Laws
Personal Union ideology for Petite Bourgeoisie
Passing the Trade Coordination law adds convoy contribution
