(I can't post links because I'm new but you can find it on steam workshop!)

Credit to Fletz, creator of the Higher Mortality Mod, for coming up with most of the ideas this mod is built on. This mod isn't a copy of theirs, though. My implementation code is quite different, and the numbers are also more brutal overall.

If you're tired of most dynasties surviving for the entire game, this mod is for you.

- Reduced overall fertility and lowered max fertility ages, balanced ruler extra children, no player extra children
- High chance of children contracting a deadlier form of pneumonia
- Some chance of adults contracting a deadlier form of consumption
- Increased chance of positive and negative birth traits. Negative traits are mostly slightly more negative, and positive traits are mostly slightly less positive.
- Effects of successful treatments are reduced and effects of unsuccessful treatments are increased.
- Reduced stress gain on infant child death

recommended settings (default except for):
random harm target: anyone
matrilineal marriages: female dominated & equal (I think that they sometimes occurred in real life, but that's beside the point. They make dynasties more stable, so they have to go).

I didn't know anything about modding this game until a few days ago so this is exciting
This mod should change the way you play the game pretty drastically, but hopefully you enjoy the experience of my idea of historical realism
