It probably is, but I'm also not sure tbh.I don't know if it is a consequence of the same bug or not but there is the issue of bugged pregnant characters remaining in hiding...

What about the usual cultural restrictions or martial ones?You'll be able to do it if you have a coastal province in your demesne - if you ever become landlocked your business will cease to exist - you need to have 8 stewardship, can't be Kind and can't be Just - again, if you add one of these traits while being a pirate or you lower your stewardship below 8 you'll cease to have a piracy operation.
Other than that there is the usual mix of traits and stats to consider with the events. This system adds twenty events to the mod.

Other than what I wrote before, the option to start a piracy operation is available to anyone who is not a seafarer. As for martial, I thought about it but in the end I decided against making the decision depend on it as the player is directing the operation, not the tactical aspects. However, in events that demand tactical military thinking - and there are those - the martial of the player character is tested.
I was thinking that Culturalrestrictionss will be a think, but ok.

Of course, something like HIP's raiding restrictions. Only certain cultures can raid. So I was thinking that maybe certain cultures could be pirates as well. Just to make it more Historical I guess? Just sharing ideas here, it's up to you ofcCultural restrictions... can you be more specific?

The point is for each culture that is blocked the implementations affects ever less characters and situations. Also, I find the cultures you would suggest are probably already covered in the seafarer capacity. What I did was keeping as it is to some cultures/religions and allow all the others the possibility of pirating... But I am open to criticisms/suggestions.
Lets see what ppl think about it and will fix whatever needs to be fixing after release... speaking of which I'll be releasing it today, just need to code a final event...

Nope, just enjoy it. You can read about the new system in the rules post.
In the end I filtered the new system to the characters who can loot. Those who loot can't be pirates and those who pirate can't loot.
But I am open to opinions/suggestions/critiques...

Ofc I would also love to hear other opinions and ideas. It's a very interesting feature though. I hope the results and gains won't be too OP. I'm kinda ''restrictive'' with my gameplay and I'm trying to minimize any unnecessary bonuses.
