This is the new thread for the new mod about the 7 Years War, sometimes called the "first world war". The mod will start January 1, 1750.

The mod will use the e3-FN map, still in the workshop and not completed yet.

It was the "world war" aspect of the 7 Years War, wars in Canada, USA, India, Europe etc that attracted me to doing this mod. Napoleon was only in Europe, so a mod that covers the whole globe should be much more interesting to do and play.

I'm expecting and hoping to try some new ideas out in the mod, will give me a new challenge and hopefully provide expanded options to the players.

That is all I have for the moment.

Thanks

Yep, looks great. I mean the title screen, (as the map isn't done yet)

I was going to say all of Europe, but knowing that may be a bit too much, how about Eastern Europe (the areas around Poland)

First England owns the whole world, just so I can open up the map and look at it. The map is still being processed so there are no countries done, since ALL the province IDs will change dramatically from the E3 map, I mean they are being totally re-done. SO, province IDs will be sequential, neighbouring provinces will have IDs close to the selected province, which should help in doing events etc etc.

EDIT: And Europe across to Western Russia has provinces added, not removed, when compared to the e3 map.

First time for everything. Thought I'd dabble in some skin making. Gave Gran Colombia, Sweden, and the British East India Company a shot.

I like it very much!
Can you create that kind of "topbar" even for the skins I've previously loaded?

Looks good.
Yes it looks just great, maybe needs a little touch here and there. See below.

Would it be possible.....
Google large golden elegant border frame....

You know the way back in 1750-times, they added lots of "artistic flourish in gold", I mean golden borders to paintings etc.
Would it be possible for you to find some golden flashy border to supplement the excellent image you already contributed to the mod?
This is what I had in mind myself, so It would be absolutely ideal if you could find something.
Cheers

Nova's works are ever great works !
Subbed !

Thanks for your support pakotorino, Cheers

I am currently trying to get the partitions done. oh, Courland is in a odd position, which is why I color it red. Courland is not included in the first two partitions and is only incorporated to Russia in 1795.

btw, Austria is uninvolved in the second partition, and Prussia gains Danzig in the Second Partition.

ok, and I have Eastern Europe after the Third Partition
(key)
Blue borders is Prussia
Yellow borders is Austria/Habsburg Monarchy
Red borders is Russian Empire

Commonwealth and Courland Second Partiton.png

black borders = borders of the Commonwealth (including Courland) pre-1772
red borders = Courland
yellow borders = borders after the first partiton (Courland is uninvolved)
lime green = borders after the second partiton (Courland is still uninvolved, and Danzig falls to Prussia)

No, sorry I should have been clearer in what I had in mind.

The original image is perfect.
I meant the artistic flourish was to be on the outside, possibly in the corners. I mean your image remains unchanged. Stuff is added to the outside of it.

OR

Something like this image, with your image inside this, maybe in an oval shape?

But of course this image is not large enough for the screen size, it would need to be enlarged for use.

Sorry for the bother.

OK, have everything so far. Thank You again!
