FullRandomCampaignStart
Gives random mechs and mechwarriors at game start.

SUMMARY

Now start with random Mechs or Mercenaries at the start of the campaign! This allows for either fully random mechs where you can define the lance size, tonnage range, and a maximum tonnage per mech allowance. Also includes a tonnage range for the "traditional" mech randomizer where youcan input a list of mechs and specify amongst weight classes.


SETTINGS

  • Global toggles that effect both types of randomizers. FullRandomMode: true for complete randomization, false for Original Method Randomization.
Setting Description
FullRandomMode: true true for Full Random Mode, false for Traditional Randome Mode
MinimumStartingWeight: 160 Specify weight range for lance
MaximumStartingWeight: 170
NumberRandomRonin: 0 How many random Ronin from the global pool in starting pool
NumberProceduralPilots: 0 How many random rookie pilots in starting pool



  • Specify which Ronin you want to have in your game to start. NumberRoninFromList will specify how many Ronin will be randomly selected from amongst this list.
Setting Description
NumberRoninFromList: 4 How many ronin will be randomly selected from the following list
StartingRonin: List of Ronin. Default is vanilla pilots

  • Settings for Original Method. Use this method to input specific mechs to be randomized amongst. Also, this allows precise control of mech weight classes.

Good mod! I have been using it.
A 4x light start is hard. The random Urbie carried a bunch of missions for me.

Does this prevent getting Glitch, Dekker, or the other starting pilots from showing up in the random hiring hall?
 
does this mod is a separate mod from the CCC or can it be combined? do you plan into incorporating some of the other elements of the CCC that make it such an excellent mod into this one?
 
First of all, the default setting for this mod is to have all the starter pilots be available by default. This is tweakable but I default it to only impact mech selection.

Second, if you use dZ CCC there is no need to add this. Every mod I create as a stand alone is taken from that pack. So, any mod you see of mine is included in that pack.

What options are you wondering about? The only additional option that is added without editing the mod.json is being able to choose your starter mexh. You need the custom campaign for this...
 
Ahh Ok ... then there is no need for me to add this.... I though this was something else entirely ..... I did play a little last night and started a new campaign and choose to skip the prologe .... I selected my mech to be a Kintaro and when it started the game, it started on the combat phase after the tutorial and my ancestral mech was still the blackjack
