Hello folks!

Nothing major to report except that playtesting for the MOD has gone very well and I am currently in process of properly merging this MOD with Age of Faith. However, for those who want more "vanilla" experience, I keep this as seperate MOD available for download.

In fact, only change has been that Krete was made majority Muslim religion and rulers culture changed due to playtest feedback, which by the way says Krete is extremely interesting place to play in. Otherwise only changes are few ruler tweaks again for sake of balance.

One bug has raised it's ugly head, that sometimes characters receive no traits while being educated (they do receive education trait, usually correct one too). However, I have noticed this bug to occur during vanilla game too so I am not sure if MOD is to blame for it.

As usual, link to most recent version is on the front page. I more or less consider this complete at this stage, unless I decide to do something non-vanilla additions to it such as new religion and so on. Playtesting still continues and if anything major is spotted, we hope to shoot the bug down.

Currently I have no idea which causes it. Any help is appreciated.
It happened to WtWSMS previously in the early beta phase, but I don't remember how Enlil fixed it. :p Have you validated your files?

I just redid and it only gave me "illegal ending bracket" or whatever in landed_titles.txt.

I fixed it and ran one game first with Kiev where I became a minor under education and then hopped to Mardavij. In both cases I did managed to get some traits but I recall there was never an issue with first generation anyway.

I will run the game for a while but if you want to see how it goes for you, I uploaded most recent version (0.8) to front page.

Of course, if you want to download the mod and run validator by yourself in case I screwed it up completely, feel free.

I have now ran couple of generations with the game and the traits do pop-up for majority of the characters from what I can. Some mystery cases still pop up though, where you only have an education trait but it is fairly safe to say that your heirs will now receive traits during their education as normal, so at least the worst bit of this bug appears to have been squashed in v.0.8

I have a problem. I want to put this to Steam but I cannot get it to upload there. I get to window where it says MOD name on top, underneath is description box and under it is "by submitting this you blah blah...." and below those is "back" & "publish". Clicking publish does nothing, I have accepted Steam contract and tried fixing .mod file code and publishing with -zip file and no zip file.

Any advice on how to proceed?

You do it via the game, on the main menu there's the Content->Mods tab.

Woohoo! Finally a date between 1066 and 867!

Hope you like it. I would love to hear comments/feedback.

Special treat for people too. I have made a version with mechanics for Qarmatians. It replaces Hurufi heresy (all currently Hurufi provinces become Qarmatian) in-game.

Qarmatians are a Shia heresy with following changes:

- May not perform Hajj
- Can always raid, even if feudal
- Increased cavalry offensive/defense power.

The download link is in first page.

Am I the only one bugged by the Latinised names in the Byzantine Empire? (e.g. Methodius instead of Methodios, Leo instead of Leon) Also, why is the Diogenes' CoA random?

Also, I think it'd be a good idea to give more of the rulers in Italy Italian culture like the devs did for TOG. At the moment, it just ends up being converted to either French or Occitan.

Feel free to PM list of characters you want changed to proper localisation.
