Its the Modelers who do the heavy lifting and Compilation modders that really make everything work well together - but I do appreciate the kudos - thank you ;)

Starting to enter 3030 -3040 range of 'Mechs/Vees now. Not a lot in that timeline though.

EDIT : Also, I posted a ZIP copy in the first post in the thread and updated the list to show all 'mechs/vees in the mod.

Justin, I just wanna say thx immensely for the work you've done.

I've followed your work and used it from the beginning, but just lurked w/o posting

I was having a sporadic, unknown, problem on 3+ missions using the Community Bundle and your stuff (which enabled me to even use the CAB) that evidently has been fixed (hopefully no more spinning circles).

I also love the new lance makeups (if you didn't re-do them, they are still awesome), seeing a lot more new vehs and I'm loving it.

So once again thx and a Huge shout out to you, you are the MAN!!

Sorry you experienced an issue, I am hoping whatever bug it was is now squashed !!

If that wheel of death reappears, log out of the game and try to grab the following 2 files and post them here or PM them to me please (the location may differ if you installed to a different drive - or use GoG):
  • "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\output_log.txt"
  • "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BATTLETECH\Mods\.modtek\ModTek.log"
Hopefully those will give me an idea as to where the issue is ;)

Just happened...logs the logs are below


I had to exit the game via task manager, hope that doesn't skew the logs

@Mongo101 - Thanks for posting those!

At a quick glance, the ModTek side looks good - no failed loads / errors and the JK_CAB Folder is loading after all the prerequisite files.

There is an error saying the Javelin is missing its move def - but I can see that the MoveDef is loading in the ModTek side of things... Have you seen a Javelin in game?

There is also some sort of Duplicate GUID error related to a pilot ID. I'll have to look that over with less sleepy eyes ;) By any chance, do you have 2 of the same MechWarriors in your company? There was a similar error posted about Archangel at some point.

And the answer to both your questions is negative, I've had no dup pilots, only on the rare occasion, I have had one or two with the same voice, and no Javs yet.

Found an error in the Javelin file

Replace the attached movedef (after unzipping) in the JK_VariantsCAB / Movement folder

Hoping this resolves that part of it!

Please do! I am hoping that squashes at least 1 of the errors. Send me both logfiles if it happens again after replacing the Movedef

Also, I posted up version 1.5.1.1 with this fix, and also added in the Stinger/Wasp to be consistent with the Community Asset Bundle.

You and me both ;) That being said, the other error looks to be triggered by something - maybe BasicPanicSystem - still looking into that
 
JK sorry, but.....

Just saw merry-go-round again, however the Jav is now showing up

There is also something you may want to look into, on two separate occasions I had escort missions where only 3 vehs spawned and when the game tried to moved the fourth (which was AWOL) it went into the death spiral again. Reloading the mission does no good

This happened before 1.5.1.1 and it's no biggie, and happens infrequently enough that I just ignored it,but I figured if I'm bug hunting, I would report it
