"John's Crazy Kings" is a mod the I created when I got bored recently. I wanted to spice things up for me, and I always hated waiting for crusades, holy orders, or the Invasions to come.

So I took it into my own hands.

CURRENT FEATURES:

Crusades and Jihads will be available at the 769 start date, just wait a year or two for them to unlock. Sometimes the Pope likes to take his sweet time, so the crusades might occur later in the game, or until Europe is threatened.

Most Holy Orders form soon after, with the exceptions of the Haruriyyah, and the Livonian Order. The Haruriyyah will only form if Baghdad, Damascus, Cairo, Jerusalem or Mecca is not controlled by a Muslim. The Livonian Order would be earlier, but I couldn't find the location on where the form date is, so either wait until 1192 or get Provence, Toulouse, Paris, Cologne or Braunschweig under the control of a non-christian (This doesn't seem to work either, I don't know what their problem is, sorry if they are your favorite holy order, you'll have to wait until they come naturally or start at a date close or after 1192). Also, the Nestorian and the Miaphysite holy orders can be formed by any lord of those religions with enough piety and cash. No need for moral authority or controlling a holy site, you can just form them.

Ever wanted those sweet Jomsvikings earlier? Well, now they can appear at any date, not just after 920. Just control either Stettin, Wolgast, Rügen or Werle, and make sure it has a free holding slot.

The Indian Holy Orders now form as soon as any one of the major cites are controlled, now you don't have to wait untill 1100 or for a non-eastern religion to control 5 of those cities. They form really early in the 769 start date.

*Ever thought the Mongols or Aztecs took way to long to appear when the game rule is set to random? Don't want to wait 50 years or more to get your ass handed to you? No? Well too bad! Now the Aztecs or Mongols can appear after 1 year of gameplay!

**Because I'm a mad man, I doubled the number of units each invader spawns with! Now you stand no chance.

Holy Orders now have double the amount of troops. Go on, Crusade/Jihad/Great Holy War with even more carnage!
Be warned though, this does make them a lot more costly, If people don't like this, I can remove it.

*Quick note, if you don't want this on, just don't have the game rules for both set to "random". Have it on something else or not on entirely.

**This applies no matter what time you set for the invasion, you might want to prepare for a massive invasion from both sides very early into your game if you have it set to random.

I plan to add much more in the future, like all religions that have a religious head and can declare Great Holy Wars will use the Catholic Crusade system.

But for now, enjoy the great mess that I have created for your pleasure and mine.

This is also found on steam under the same name, give me some love there if you want. Or not, your choice.
