Because FTL inhabitor cause move_to hard to use,Venth event is hard to fix.
I don't know how LEX temp fix do,but my own fix may not fix this soon.

Fair enough, although i haven't heard any complaints about the ships not functioning properly in their movement. Although the various counters don't always seem to work properly, i probably need to do a play through of all the different events at some point to check over everything. But i made a bug report discussion in the mod for the purpose of allowing people to post any bugs they find. I do still need to rework several things, such as the bombardment mechanics and other things that have to so with tilesets. Several of the mechanics that I never really even knew about/used in terms of the bombardment stuff was simply disabled for the time being to allow the events themselves to work properly while i try to figure out what their 2.2+ equivalent function would be.

ah,sorry,but i mean my own project https://github.com/neptunehs/-LEXUnoffical2Compatibility/releases
which begin a month later than you begin but I don't know and now abandon(but because I use it myself so will update when broke)
And please fix game_rule that may or may not broke planet killer bombard if you don't fix.

I've done bwm_orbital_bombardment without tile,maybe can be a reference?

Ah, alrighty, I'll check the game_rule file to see if anything is wrong with it, and, well, the orbital bombardment stuff is still there, just anything to do with the tile systems have been disabled.

It'll be great if you have time to update Relics to 2.2, but I'll understand if you can't - we all have a life. :)

And, I can take a look at it, I kinda forgot about it, especially since no one reported any issues with the mod.

Wait, the original author is updating the Mod?!

HECK YEAH!!

If you are referring to me then you are mistaken, the person who posted the first message in this forum ( Bitterbaum ) is the original author, I am merely the person who is maintaining most of the mod for the current version of the game.

Seems it will be compatible with 2.3, right?

I try my own fix and no errors reported.(Except some jobs I added myself.)
I think not so many changes between 2.2 and 2.3 and LEX temp fix can work well too.

Yeah, I just updated the mod for 2.3, everything seemed to work fine. (Besides the issues with ships being destroyed not firing specific events if they are set to fire_once = yes from my experience)

So, is it safe to assume the mod is dead for good?

I honestly can't say I blame you, author. Considering how Paradox pretty much killed modding with their garbage launcher and systematically destroyed modding scene with each patch, it was only a matter of time.

I would like to thank you for all the effort and the hundreds of hours I had fun with it. As far as I am concerned your mod is worth may more than any of the stellaris dlcs, Paradox asks money for.

With regards, Ediros.

If you think modding is dead, you must be living under a rock.

LEX is continued by Spacemike here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1320989536

He hasn't added anything new but he keeps it up to date.

So, it's not continued, it's maintained, so it works with current version of the game.

Is modding dead? Of course not. Did paradox mess mod scene a ton with many of their decisions. Definitely. There are mods on the steam workshop and such, which were abandoned after the fiasco with their current horrible launcher and other questionable decisions.

LEX was one of the top mods for me and still is. It's a shame the author didn't continue it, but what can you do.

And it doesn't help that there aren't many other space strategy games like Stellaris being made. They sure as hell could use some competition.
