More Informative Panel Tooltips is a simple UI mod that adds useful information to the panel button tooltips (the sidebar on the left).
I was annoyed at having to keep opening and closing the politics window to see my legitimacy level, so I could adjust my taxes to keep a high level for the bonuses...
So I decided to fix that and added the information in to the politics button tooltip (shown in thumbnail) and also gave other buttons useful and appropriate information. Now it is visible at a glance without clicking anything or delving in to several tooltips.
The panel buttons improved are: Politics, Budget, Market, Military, Diplomacy & Population. See the steam page for details!
This game has a lot of information to give you. I think the paradox devs have done a great job. But sometimes that information is buried under different windows, several layers of tooltips or in the 'current situation' drop-down list, which can feel cluttered to regularly get to the information you want.
But as the information panel is always visible and most of the button tooltips were empty, this is prime real estate with basically no info cramming.
Additionally, the Population panel tooltip will tell you how many (if any) states in your country are in turmoil. This is something the game would not even warn you about.
A staple to anyone's Victoria 3 experience, if I do say so myself.
