Is it possible to replicate mod collection posted on Steam for your mod? My Steam simply refuses to download ck2 related mods... I'd otherwise will have to download em via steamcmd, but having a package on moddb or elsewhere would be nice! - thnx

Hey, would you mind posting a download link for your old 0.3.5.1 version? Much obliged!
We don't maintain it. Hypothetically, such an old version could be extracted out of our github.

We are up to date with CK2 2.8.2.1. The mod is so different than where it was just last fall, its best to go to the latest version.

Quick question, are there any plans to do something for hunters anytime soon? Or will I have to just contend myself being an Assamite or Setite? =)

We do plan to improve hunters one evening. Nothing is planned in the next steam release though. Our focus will be on a new map, thaumaturgy rituals and preparing for a modern book mark.

Hunters are vaguely playable right now, but are very weak compared to vampires. The supenatural hunter trait is inheritable. There are the Shadow Inquisition factions as dynasties. They have some coat of arms patterns. There is a Shadow Inquisition religion. Some will spawn randomly. There is a rise of the Shadow Inquisition event. They do not have blessings or edges yet (which is why they are very underpowered compared to vampires). They do not have societies, special buildings, or special artifacts. There is not a hunter focused bookmark. What do you most think we should add to hunters to make them better?

When you wonder if a new DLC feature is moddable?

Absolutely LOVE this mod. Paradox should seriously consider hiring a few of you and building on this concept. It's honestly amazing. You should be proud.

Just one question. Are there any plans to expand on our ability to keep subservient lords in line? After a hundred years or so my Dukes run rampant with expansion and the border gore drives me nuts. This is especially true when I play the Giovanni for some reason (maybe that's just because I play them the most).

Thanks to the whole team for amazing work. I can only hope that you just keep building on what you have here because it's truly special like Rhyse of Civilization and Fall from Heaven were eons ago.

The team thanks you for the kind words! Religious revocation was restricted due to a cycle the AI could enter where it kept revoking and generating new barons over and over if a certain setup occurred. There was a mistake made because simply commenting out the law requirement for Imperial Law did not remove the requirement for some reason (my mistake). It's fixed now on github, found here. When that is enabled you can now properly get to the laws restricting vassal wars.

There are some other fixes and neat goodies that went up on github this week:
  • Lots of new 1230 Canon characters, possibly the final update to them. Now over 400+! (karde)
  • Fixes to various little things (including the Giovanni objective, which had a little problem with vanilla heretic religion mechanics)
  • Tweaks to attacks in imprison and plots that gives combat rating more weight
  • Gehenna: Black Death now has 4 game rules - Normal, Deadly, Weak, Off. Default is Normal.
  • Small chance to learn disciplines not known via diablerie
  • Player may now learn Disciplines via decisions using favor, prestige and gold!

Tremere Thaumaturgy Rituals!
Targeted Rituals
  • Bind the Accusing Tongue
  • Bureaucratic Condemnation
  • Scapegoat
  • Corrupt Body
  • Acedia

Personal Rituals
  • Burning Blade
  • Bone of Lies
  • Soul of the Homunculus
  • Court of Hallowed Truth

Funny thing is, Paradox CAN actually do just that, for Paradox OWNS WhiteWolf, therefor all it's brands too, INCLUDING all of World of Darkness.

But so far Wester has not been much explicit regarding plans for WW.

This is probably a stupid question but are these fixes automatically applied from steam? I've never used GitHub for mods.
They are not. We may look at pushing the current update to Steam in the near future so long as it appears to have no major errors and is save compatible. It appears to be save compatible with the current version on Steam, 0.4.2.1.

Installing the mod from github takes a little doing as you must unsubscribe on steam, delete the mod from your /mod folder and download the Github version. The bonus is that you get new content fast and help the team by testing new content. If you encounter an issue we quickly fix things reported on our Discord and the majority of fixes are save compatible.

Yes. Double for me. I really wish someone would do something with the WoD franchise, RPG, Strategy game, something, rather than just let it sit there and rot into obscurity. Glad this mod at least is here for the fans.

I might have already mentioned I tried doing this exact franchise as a CK2 mod years ago but always had a problem spawning lots of traits on people at once, glad to see it was fixed and made possible in later versions of CK2, done through a few months delay ingame works well.

Quick question(s):

1) Can Thinbloods exist if the game goes on long enough? I always liked that concept.
2) Do you plan to let us take on the 3rd gen Antediluvians eventually :D, maybe with some powerful 4th or 5th gen friends. Have to ask, as I very much like the progression you have built system in the game, and would enjoy playing a late generation bookmark where I am trying to climb the ladder all the way to the top, perhaps these plots would require very powerful friends.
3) Does the game generate higher generation vampires as the game goes on, rather than keep spawning 6th and 7th etc. To reflect time passing? That way a later game would have higher generation rulers, and fewer powerful early gen vampires

1) Not at this time. Maybe after modern is done, not sure how high of a priority it will be deemed.
2) Yes! We're not sure what mechanics or how the gameplay of a 3rd Gen would play out so it's locked as best we can for the moment.
3) No, although those embraced will always be a step higher. It's possible that may be included after modern but it would also be a cycle attached to some climactic gehenna event where lots of vampires die and the generations move up and the cycle begins anew. There aren't a ton of random-generated vampires done this way and low generation ones are low percentage.

Quick Question, what is this autobuild POD mod, packed together with the POD mod?
It is the result of the scripts of the auto-build mod from the CK2 forums here run on PoD with some tweaks for PoD so that it runs properly. It's in beta but users have confirmed that it works and does not build ghouled and conditioned type buildings (as well as some others like population). The vassal options on it aren't tested at all and will be removed in the near future. Some users have requested an auto-build mod due to the large amount of buildings that new holdings can require as well as recovering from the Black Death effects. Since not all users would want to use it, it will be released as a sub-mod.

I'm having a bit of trouble with the restore the dream objective compared to some of the others. I made a custom toreador and ended up in control of Greece and Anatolia after a while, but the event requirements kept saying I didn't completely control either nation. I went so far as to do holdings wars to make sure every one off barony level title was in kingdom(s), still no good. I ended up just typing in the event code out of frustration just to see what it would look like. Is it that it's unfinished? Particular glitch?

We'll take a look at it and figure it out, thank you for reporting it!

Вечер добрый , скажите будут ли реализованы демоны падшие , перевертыши , призраки и другие из мира тьмы ? Или только вампиры?
