In HOI2 - the game in which I am most familiar with modding - there are various .csv files that define the names of a country's individual divisions / squadrons / ships and corps / flotillas / wings. Where can I find similar files for Rome? I want to change the names of my cohorts and armies to something less generic....

What Hardradi means is that you can't define unit names for each country; instead, you define unit names for each culture. So, all countries of Greek culture have the same unit names, for example.

The file itself is units.csv.

I found that: thanks. But it does not allow me to do what I want to do, or at least I am not sure how to do it. What I was wanting to be able to change was the names of cohorts. So if for example you are playing as Germany in HOI2, you will have the 1. Infanterie-Division and so on, rather than 1st German Division and so on. I am not sure if I am being clear or not.... Right now I have given up on the whole renaming of cohorts, which is forbidden in-game, which is a bit of an arsehole, and just rename my armies to 'Comites XXXXX' - Companions of the commanders of that particular army, rendering name of commander in genitive form; man, knowing a bit of Latin is bitching! :)
