More details on the mod page here https://www.nexusmods.com/battletech/mods/346, but simply pressing F2 colour codes all the systems on the star map by difficulty (in a rainbow style fashion) and pressing F3 colours systems based on whether they've been visited. F1 goes back to the default colour scheme.

Could be useful for quickly finding systems of appropriate difficulty or maximising your career points by showing what systems you haven't yet visited.

Changelog:

1.1 - Fixed bug which caused flashpoint indicator not to appear.
1.0 - Initial release.

Thank you so much dude!

That is ridiculously useful.

Can you change / trigger other factors? I am guess you would just need to add it to the DLL for it to check other tags.

THANK YOU :)

@ClintonM loving this....not randomly going about anymore.

question; would it be possible to change the color of planets that show as black markets to red/green? (currently they show as purple with visual maker)

Slight bug in that clicking F2 or F3 and back to F1 eliminates "normal view" but I don't care that much since I can just exit and open Navigation again.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this, but I noticed the flashpoint markers went missing after changing the view. Version 1.1 should fix it. Give it a try and see if it fixes your issue, and feel free to reply if it doesn't, preferably with two screenshots - 1. what happens without the mod and 2. what goes wrong with it.

Thanks! Glad it's helping.

Probably. Could you (or anyone else) attach a ".sav" with black market access? I recently cleared all my pre-1.3 saves and I don't have a current game with black market access to test against.

I would but I am running a mess load of mods....more then 2 dozen probably closer to 30 something.
Now what I could do is zip up my mods folder along with a Sav if no one else volunteers.

That is exactly what I meant. I'll test 1.1 later today.

Attached is a no mods required SAV with Black Market access.

Thanks for the SAV scJazz!

Ah, now I see the issue with black markets. The icon obscures the star colours.

I've made it now so the black market icon is only displayed on the default view (F1). The difficulty view (F2) and the visited view (F3) will not display black markets.

However flashpoints will continue to be displayed in all views as they don't obscure the star colour.

Hopefully this is a sensible approach.
