This seems like a really cool mod, only it inexplicably crashes without fail every single time the game tries to save (both automatically and manually) after I become unlanded. I'm not running any mods other than this one, game is up to date, and I have all the dlcs minus some minor customisation ones so I'm not sure why. If you could provide a fix that would be awesome, thanks! I am using a custom ruler if that helps at all but I don't see why that would make a difference.
i really like this mod ALOT!!! i can wish that it played better with others but what is the point of that haha. it works awesome as you did it and i am so glad that you git it going. I am just HOPING that something like this can be made for next version of the game :-D

I don't know. What I do know is that it works just fine with BLG.
Glad you like it! Paradox stated that playing as anything lower than Count would be boring for the player, so I think it is going to be up to the mod community to make it happen.
Hi! I think this is a wonderful mod idea and wanted to try it out, there's only 1 thing that it's slightly annoying. I cannot move to another province.
I started in Asturias in 768 and they fell to the muslims, now I m on "0 0 0", basically the left lower corner on the map. Reloaded an older save and now I m in Asturias again but cannot move because you need the province objective to be holded by a Duke or higher, the thing is there's no move button on counties, only in baronies.
According to the wiki should work, but it doesn't, let me post some pics.
In this screen I right click Saintoge icon on the top left.
In this other screen I right click the first village icon and now the Move option appears.
As you may imagine is pretty hard to move if the only valid condition is a barony owned by a duke. Is this a bug? Or I m missing something? The wiki "province profile" pic seems to be done being the owner of that province, right now I m playing as a noble woman with no other titles.

So it's working as intended? You can only move if a Duke or higher has a barony.
I ended up editing the file itself and removing the higher than county, worked better for my case.
Every landed ruler has a Barony. You just need to right click on the BARONY COA...not the COUNTY
I suppose you mean the yellow marked one? I marked in red the ones that don't show up "Move" and in green the only 2 that did.

Negative the yellow one is a COUNTY. Click the the castle and than Right Click the BARONY COA
It's probably unstable, but if you want you could probably change the mod's decisions file pretty easily.
Would this work with a randomly generated world, or does it only work in vanilla Europe?
Works with random worlds...make sure you have DeJure Kingdoms and Empires on
idk it doesnt work for me . got it from workshop but when i start game and randomize my character and etc. it doesnt lemme choose to start as unlanded bastard stuff. help?
Is there a community forum or Reddit group for this mod to discuss the play mechanics without bothering the creator or modders.
