Rubricator System Fix

TAGS

Fixes

DESCRIPTION

Based off The Wealthy Aardvark's Rubricator System Spawning Corrections.

While the original mod still works, it only provides one hyperlane linked to a system 2-4 jumps from the anomaly site. The current, i.e. vanilla, system does spawn 2 hyperlanes, but it will connect those hyperlanes to the two closest systems to the rubricator system, which may or may not be accessible from the anomaly site.

This mod ensures that the rubricator system spawns correctly, has one hyperlane connected to a system 2-4 jumps away from the anomaly site and one hyperlane to the system closest to the rubricator system.

EDIT: I have also included the zip file of the mod here for those who use Steam exclusively.

I do not understand how to use the mod. I run the game from steam and I do not find the mod in the steam workshop. If I use your link above and then add it does not add it to the list of mods in the steam playset. Can you add the mod to the steam workshop rather than Paradox mods? Not sure how Paradox Mods works. Thanks

I play using a GoG install of Stellaris so there is no option for me to upload directly to the Steam Workshop. I believe the Steam version still uses the Paradox Launcher, correct me if I am wrong, so you can add it to your playsets after subscribing to it via Paradox Mods. Since you have a Paradox account, just log in to Paradox Mods and subscribe to the mod from there.

Thank you for the reply. I had tried that before posting and it did not show up in the mod playsets in steam even when I hit look for more mods. Steam does use the Paradox launcher but as far as I understand it looks for steam workshop or local mods when adding to a playset. Maybe I did something wrong. Not the end of the world.

It's actually a pretty simple fix and The Wealthy Aardvark released the code publicly so I'll see if I can upload the files here so you can use it as a local mod.

I just edited the first post and attached the zip file.
