A possible known issue is that if you have user made Stellaris custom robotic species those might crash the mod before the main menu loads. At the moment only robotic species have been reported doing this.

Gameplay - Sheliak can now also colonise M-Class worlds, but with reduced habitability.

Hi, thanks for the great mod. Is this still playable if I don't have most of the recent DLC? The last one I bought is Overlord.
yes, I've been playing it without them, it says they add to specific factions, paragons seems to be the most encouraged, but I dont have them and it works great

Like Orinsul commented above, the DLCs only add specific stuff to the mod, for a complete list check the mods FAQ, but without them should still be very much playable as well. :)
