also how do you become a formidable fighter? i assume its from the society

Is that the one that gives +40 PC? I got it on one char after killing loads of people on the bounty list. The last game I played though no one ever appeared on the list so I guess I have to run satanism and secret religious cults.

I said this already but I am really loving the orders of chivalry. Right now I'm doing various Britannia runs (Mercia, Wessex, Dublin) and it's crazy fun.

yeah. someone tried to kill me and i won so i gained the novice fighter trait. I wish I could join two societies just to experience this aspect of the mod more often. Only way for me to build this outside of that is to piss people off enough that they put a bounty on me!
 
is it possible to get education events for teaching wards the fighter traits corresponding to the skill of their teacher? in a similar way that the AGOT mod adds a chance for them to pop? Formidabble fighter, Trained, etc

So I went digging into the files and I think I see how to do it. Adding it to the base mod will probably make it incompatible with mods that change the same file but with @Maal 's permission I can make a separate mod so as to maintain compatibility.

is it possible to keep multiple centers of trade by switching capitals with various rulers? as long as u have the gold you should be able to keep them all ongoing yes?
 
In sufi_scripted_effects.txt file, sufi_purity_effect is broken, it should be SUFI.4400 and not MNM.4400. MNM.4400 has additional trigger, i.e. is_monastic_member_trigger = yes, making it unable to fire.

change it to:
            character_event = { id = SUFI.4400 days = 10 random = 10 }

question why cant I place a bounty on my rivals? they definitely have a negative opinion of me over 30. I should to them as well. I am part of the ring of honor society and the only check thats not active is 'be part of a fighters guild society' even though i am?

Earlier, I tried playing as the grandmaster of the Teutonic order with this mod active, but quickly discovered some jarring events where I'd end up talking to myself. How long do you think it would take me to adapt the mod to disable such events so that I could do that seamlessly?

I've already disabled the event I reported about earlier for grandmasters and it seems to be working fine now, I just wanna know if there are some other things I should disable before I consider starting a campaign so I don't have to edit shit mid-save.
 
Anyone know how to get the female fighter guild to appear in this? In the files it looks like the trigger is the same as for the rest; i.e. it should appear with Europe or Europe extras. But while the western fighter's guild is showing for me (the round table) I can't get the Amazonian one to show up in the normal map.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. Its considered a 'generic' society, so will appear with any setting in the rules BUT Europe. I'm not sure why, I don't see that looking in the files, but thats clearly it.

Man I haven't checked here in a while. I am sort-of off CK2, sorry about there. Let's see about the unresolved things...

I won't add the fighters trait training because of conflict, it raise fast already by just fighting/training in my opinion.

Cannot create a center of trade if any of your province have one. Sure there are work-around like conquest, but the system will only support one iirc.

Will fix the sufi thing tomorrow.

Cannot be part of a fighter guild if you want to place a bounty. That would lead to stuff like hunting your own bounty.

About the teutonic holy order, mod was made before holy fury. Are these my events or the new northern crusade stuff?

The triggers to spawn societies are in the societies.txt file under "active".

If anyone else has comments/requests/bug reports and do not want to wait months, do send them to the mods' steam workshop page. Steam is always open so I'll see it right away.
 
Great mod, really enhances the game! Even though for the life of me I can't figure out how to use Trade Goods like Stack of Wool Cloths, Bundle of Hides, Barrel of Alcohol, etc.

Edit: Ah, after a month of playing and right-clicking on every kind of shield of title, county, and even holding, since that's how you do some things, I accidentally right-clicked on a holding's square picture and got the options. Cool!

I'm wondering if it's normal to have duplicated Poor/Trained/etc Fighter traits in the ruler customizer when playing with AGOT + Orders of Chivalry + Compat patch.
It's not supposed to happen. In the version I made, I removed the four Combat Traits from chivalry_societies_traits.txt since AGOT already creates them in combat_traits.txt
 
The Trade League is a really great feature so far in my game. It took a while to realise that the extreme costs are very much worth the investment if you use your trade goods wisely, but now I actually think it's quite well balanced. I was also impressed that some AIs actually seem to make good use of it, too. One thing that didn't seem to work: When I got the mission to send a caravan, I equipped it with all the mercs and goods the decisions asked for, but then I never seemed to be able to actually send it off. I checked on the menu of provinces highlighted by the cartographer, but in those that weren't mine simply no provincial decisions were available. Could it be that it gets blocked if interrupted by a war etc.? It would be helpful to have the "Send Caravan" button still appear, but greyed out, so that players can read the explicit requirements.

Been a while since I've touched it, let's see...
Did you actually BUY a caravan to send? Those aren't provided by the quest.
War should just lower your chances of success, not stops it.
It is a holding decision I believe, not provincial. You can see it by clicking on the capital holding/castle thing, not the province flag/heraldry.
I'll try to check later today to see if there's actually an issue with the mod itself.
