TLDR: The Witcher's Realms is asleep but not dead.

Development for The Witcher's Realms is paused indefinitely. I might still sneak in a compatch for CK3 1.12, and I do hope to come back to the mod sooner rather than later. However, the cycle of compatches and development can be frustrating, and with other priorities eating up time, I don't see a path forward for the mod over the next few months. I plan on unlisting the mod on Steam so that it's still accessible with a link, and doing something similar for ModDB. If you're interested in doing something more or less ambitious with the mod's files, feel free to DM. Thank you to everyone who has played, streamed, or contributed to the mod. It's been a fun project, and I'm just bummed to leave it unfinished for now.

The Witcher's Realms is updated to 0.3.0 for CK3 1.12.5.
  • This update brings the mod up to date with CK3 and adds the Elder Folk!
  • This update is really all VITORION's excellent work.
  • Changes include:
    • Catriona Plague
    • New ethnicities: Dryads, Aen Seidhe and Dwarves
    • Added new playable titles (Mahakham, Tir Blathana, Gwendeith, Loc Muinne and Klamat)
    • Dryads control Brokilon
    • Special buildings like Loc Muinne and Kaer Morhen
    • New historical elder folk characters
    • New CoAs
    • Unite Dol Blathanna decision
    • Preparation for mages
    • Part of the members of the future Lodge of Sorceresses
    • Lots of new DNAs
    • Added complexions and elven ears from EPE (special thanks to Celticus)
  • While I'm still distracted from modding, VITORION is developing future releases.

The Witcher's Realms is updated to 0.3.1 for CK3 1.12.5.

This update fixes lingering bugs and adds beards for female dwarves.

However, this update does not patch the mod for CK3 1.13, which is not quite out yet. The next update will do that, eventually.
