Hm... Perhaps you can make Outland in the sea as the Under Empire in Geheimnisnacht, with the same system of movement between tunnels but with only one province to another province (portal to portal)

Murlocs have always been out and about and naga is sort of a coin flip. The naga we see in War 3 were just the ones that came to the call of Illidan. As the elves that have been transformed into naga have been naga for a very long time, it isn't outside the realm of possibility that they've trundled around the world.Looks like its going decently.
Confused at the presence of murlocs and naga in the troll wars map though. Thought they were only a recent factor within the third war to wow's time? Or did they retcon that too somewhere?
Ah I see. No worries to be honest. Blizzard is on the road to compete with DC in the amounts of retcons they do so everything kind of goes. xDMurlocs have always been out and about and naga is sort of a coin flip. Ultimately I made the call to put either of them in since they were both iconic and we needed more monster races that weren't just gnolls or kobolds. Both species exist, and we don't have any sort of documentation on what's going on in the azeroth portion of EK during that time period, so we hope it fits!
The current napkin idea is that there is an event that can trigger a set number of years after the troll wars wrap up where if there are so many king level titles under the empire and a certain number of cultures that there can be an event that triggers that dissolves the empire level title, which would then cause the human kingdoms to effectively come into existence as we know them today. Theoretically, anyway. Will there be an event chain for the Arathor empire fragmenting into the other human kingdoms? Perhaps one where the elves are offered a chance to get the humans to help in return for teaching them magic, where if they don't agree to that they don't get help with trolls and humans take much longer before they can start having magic users? That might be too much of a pain to do though.
lol i already did all the loading screens, it was a fun part, but mainly got art of all the different races and some main characters from warcraft with a bunch of quotes ect. Have not had the time to change the art for events, but that stuff is relatively easy to do.ept and fan art of Elderscrolls Universe in their loading screens and in their gfx files for events. I'm a little curious to your selections for that. Though I understand that wouldn't be given much thought yet as it is an aesthetic polish rather then mechanical necessit
My current "guess" is that we'll have a playable map around the end of summer. Barring anything insane. We just picked up a third member who will be helping us with events! How far are you guys to a alpha?
Cool, I can't wait!My current "guess" is that we'll have a playable map around the end of summer. Barring anything insane. We just picked up a third member who will be helping us with events!
I am actually! For the most part the basic mechanics of "Reapers Due" will appear as you'd expect. Once we find time I think augmenting the Black Plague into the Scourge Plague would be an ideal situation (but possibly beyond my scripting skills at the moment).Looking forward to this! Just a novel question, but are you guys interested in some of the new mechanics coming in the next CK2 DLC? Like prosperity, for example. Might help with keeping empty provinces empty. And the new disease mechanics would be excellent for the initial spread of the Scourge. Might I also suggest some trade roads of sort? Something linking the major cities together to make the paths between them more profitable (and more likely to attract Gnoll Hordes/Bandit events).
I'm really liking the decision to make monsters into "Hordes" btw. If you look at the Gnolls in Redridge for example they're said to be a collection of smaller clans that come together under one strong leader. The same could be said of the Blackrock Orcs (clan system for them?) and the initial Horde invasion.
Gnomeregan is present and accounted for in 4 of our 6 bookmarks! It was formed around -170 BFFW. and should show up starting in War 1, with the last gnomish king in -370 BFFW.So I guess this is going to be my first post on the Paradox forums since I began lurking last year.
I am incredibly excited for this mod, you really have no idea. Especially once I'm able to purge humanity off my da-er. I mean, enlighten the humans underneath my benevolent Gnomish Empire.
I... hope Gnomeregan is added. I know for the modern start dates it would probably an inland republic and thus unplayable but I know up to 400 years before the Dark Portal opens there was a monarchy (about the only lore we got, even counting the Chronicle :/) so I wouldn't be wrong to assume there will be a (admittedly monarchist) Gnomeregan for at least one era?
Sorry if this is a very stupid question...
Amazing, thank you!Gnomeregan is present and accounted for in 4 of our 6 bookmarks! It was formed around -170 BFFW. and should show up starting in War 1, with the last gnomish king in -370 BFFW.
