I confess that I haven't read much of the books, just Last Wish and Blood of Elves and played the games but I pictured Emhyr being a bit more...badass. But then again I have a soft spot for manipulative bastards, especially if they're called emperor

Anyways, looks pretty good even at this stage. A few missing localisations here and there but nothing too bad. But you might want to think about the Nilfgaardian color. While black is fitting it kinda makes the map blurry and you have to zoom pretty close to make out the different counties.

Well...
]Duny was not so badass - and that's him!
Though, I wonder why they didn't gave him a few negative traits. He was portrayed as quite reckless.
Oh. I feel a little silly. Nevertheless, its a money drain if there are no witchers at all. 20 years into the game and Geralt is dead. I hope you add a system to spawn witchers. Maybe also an event to send a bastard son or daughter to become a witcher
I really don't know. Chaning of times was major points in the novel: it was quite evident that it just isn't the time the monsters are as prominent as before and witchers have no place.

And to be honest, just tag like age of magic or age of humans – which would regulate appearance of monsters etc. - would be IMHO much more in line with Witcher Saga. And possibly the decisions to rebuild Witchers strongholds and experiment with their creations if the age of monstrosity returns?

Return of witchers, monsters, etc. could also be made into a good challenge of lategame.

I don't know if you still can't. You'll just probably see something akin to dark spaces in lieu of elven portraits... but it's not like there's many elfs on the map! And those can be wiped off the map with not-so-much effort.

Omg I love it, if not for the Celtic portraits thing I'd download it right now!

As Velg said, playing without the Celtic faces isn't all that game breaking. I could even provide a "hotfix" to make them use some of the vanilla faces.
The MiddleEarth folks said that they'll eventually allow me to use their custom created portraits so this dependency won't be there forever.

What color would you propose?

Also: new version that fixes the most glaring bugs + adds more of talias' graphical works

I would be interested in helping out, I have some limited experience with paradox games.

Has anyone had a problem with loading page, when it stops at flag creations? every time I start up the mod it always freezes when it says creating flags and I don't know what to do, any suggestions?

Go to documents/paradox interactive/CK2/gfx and delete the flags folder. That might work.

Thats great you guys are making a mod based on one of most awesome fantasy series ever written! (IMHO at least :)). Especially 5 part - saga was something that I always return back to every few years, and every time it gives me a great time. Good job and keep it up!

Out of cursioty - how did english translators coped up with tranlation of books from the native language? Sapkowski's writing in original, polish version was a real masterpiece, but I got a feeling that it would be quite hard to "convert" it to other languages so that it wouldn't loose any of it's greatness. So I wonder if they meet the challenge?

Well at least the short stories are pretty damn great in German as well ;)

Have you read the new book? If so, do you remember names of people and cities (like Rissberg) that should be woven into the mod?

Clicking on the Falka's Rebellion bookmark (at least I think that's the one) causes a CTD. Here is the error log:

Aah ... crap. That bookmark shouldn't be there in the first place. Must've slipped in :/
Only the last bookmark is supposed to be used.
