Would anyone be willing to take a look at a fan fork mod I'm trying out. Right now it's very bare bones to just establish the foundation of the mod. But I'm running into some issues when running the game. First issue is that the game temporarily freezes on the 1st of every month. Second issue is that I'm trying to have events give certain traits to every single person in the game, and it isn't doing it. I'd say most characters receive the traits, but many still never get them. I also suspect that the events are what's causing the game to freeze due to trying to give every single person in the game certain traits.

Anyways, I would really appreciate some guidance on how I might be able to fix these issues before I move forward with the rest of the mod.

So you use wizarding world as base for this mod?

Have you tryd to find event from orginal mod, to fix trait giving issue.

So far what i have learned, It only gives out muggle trait and randomly gives mudborn traits for newborns, actually there is alot of them after 10 years of game run. But there is no half blood, no pure blood. And i created pureblood character and married character without traits i got muggle born offspring, then i married him aga muggle born character same result, then i waited one of mudblood character to get in age and get 4 child with her still all muggle born characters despaite my main character is pureblood.

I did use the original event from the old mod. The only thing I changed was removing some of the races that I dont plan on adding in yet.
I did notice that there were a lot of mudbloods after a while. I might have to decrease that chance more. But yeah right now I was just testing the muggle and mudblood traits. The purebloods and halfbloods would be set characters from the start but I haven't added them in yet, and then as you tested, if a pureblood has a kid with a muggle it should be halfblood. I didn't know it wasn't working though. So that's a whole new issue I didn't know about. Interesting...

Did you have the same issue I did with the monthly freezing?

yeah i also experienced monthly freezing, i belive its influenced by alot of events trigger. I also think mudblood frequency should be decreased alot, mudblood should be rare, i havent checked your event structure, but also mudblood characters should have halfblood offsprings.

nut good luck to you with mod i liked orginal version but it stiped to be developed and it didnt run with newer versions, but there is still alot of things you can use.

Thank you for testing it out. I still have a long ways to go obviously, but hopefully I can get the mod to be enjoyable like the old one used to be. Sucks the original guy stopped working on it.

I'll take what you said that and make the necessary changes. You're right that mudbloods should be more rare and that their kids should halfblood (that one I was debating because there are contradictory thoughts about it online, but it makes sense what you said). Let me know if there are any more foundational things I could tweak. Once I get the ground work laid out correctly, I'll regularly ask around about what features should be added and ask for testers to see if what I did even works. :)

Just a question, not a hint or request! Havent you thought to build your mod on HIP map SWMH. For me both are fine, but just ask.

SWMH has over 1000 more province than vanilla, but its not perfect, there are some regions removed, like half of india and asia, but if you intent to focus in europe then it perfect, couse it gives more room for wizarding world to fight for power.
