I have about 100 new modded contracts on the Hyades Rim and 14 new factions.

I've gotten the factions to work with the 1.8 but the contracts refuse to appear no matter what I do. And although they appear to load on start, the bug report is tellling me that there an issue with the seed, so its likely that there's something on the .jsons that is busting them.

I haven't added any ContractType enums, since the new contracts are all of the vanilla types.
 
I'm having a similar issue. I don't have such an extensive amount of mods but every time I enable mods for 1.8, with no mods activated just enabling the mod system, no contracts ever appear. I have to disable mods, restart the game, and load the game for the contracts to populate, then go back to the main menu to enable all my mods to use them, restart the game, and the contracts I brought up are still there, but none reappear after that unless I do that entire process again. Unfortunately, this doesn't work with Flashpoints, Flashpoint contracts ceased to populate no matter what I do.

If any of these mods hasn't been updated to 1.8, then my advice would be to either test them individually or stop using them until someone declares them 1.8 compatible.

Otherwise there's a high chance that any of them doesn't work and are causing issues and it's not HBS's responsability to fix them.

Meanwhile I just found a couple errors with my contract files, a number of commas were missing. Hopefully that will clear the issue I reported.

Ah, slight misunderstanding. I did test them all one at a time and all of the mods actually do work. But I found out merely enabling the mod system in 1.8 and not turning on any mods was enough to stop the contracts from populating.

I even tried a new game with the mod system on and no mods present and that still stopped the contracts from populating.
 
I am having the same issue. After double checking all of my installed mods , I deleted the new mod folder and did a complete reinstall of 1.8. With a clean game install, an empty mod folder and a brand new campaign and a new career started. I am able to load contracts, but as soon as I click the enable mods in the new harmony browser off the main menu. I just get a spinning circle within the MercNet window when I go back and load my campaign or career.

Glad to hear someone else is having this issue. So I guess Harmony is disharmonious at the moment. And I thought the Mission Control mod was problematic. I guess we'll have to wait for an update.
