Hi, my dad installed some mods recently and has had some crashes ever since the last update.

The first couple of years the game runs completely fine, but starting approximately 2250, around every 30 minutes it crashes.

I have tried reinstalling all mods, reinstalling Stellaris, disabling some mods I thought might be responsible, but nothing seems to have worked.

I'm pretty sure it's a specific mod since - when looking at the crash log - the same errors pop up every time, "ag_ancient_theta_shielded_world", "ag_ancient_theta_star", etc.
I tried looking for a mod that could use the abbreviation "ag", but couldn't find anything.

I have attached the error log for anyone that might have an idea on how to properly read it.
If you have any other troubleshooting suggestions please lmk!

Thanks!

Ancient empires is quite heavy stuff, and when used with other mods, you have to make sure all your mods are loaded in the proper order, updated and checking if there isn't any compatibility issues between them.
Also, using Irony mod manager is a good idea, because Pdx launcher is... Quite a buggy clunky mess.

Can you give us the list of the mods you use and the load order?

Thanks, I'll try removing the mod!
Something we just figuredout, whenever you hover over the galactic community icon is when the game crashes.
Not clicking, just hovering over it crashes it.

That's odd, this mod can be cluncky, but it usually work. I had it running with Gigastructures and ACOT just fine. Maybe there is some compatibility patch for it idk.

For your load order, try to put all the massive stuff (like AE) in the bottom of the list, above it you can have hour "mediums" mods like Gulli's and finish with the cosmectics mods.

Oh, btw, every mod with "!" or "!!" should be placed at the bottom of your load order (universal resource patch in your case)

The fact that these errors show up last in the log doesn't necessarily mean that it's the cause of the crash though.
This.

Error.log most of the time means that the mod *works as intended*.

Last line in the error log refers to the last successfully executed script which returns so called "error", it is completely irrelevant to the crash.

We've adjusted the load order like you said and removed ancient empire, but it still crashes whevener you hover over the galactic community icon...

You should look trough your UI mods, they can be the cause for the game to crash when you hover the GC button. Ancient Empires do nothing to GC, so it could not be the cause of the crashes (probably)
From what I see of your mods lists, you have a bunch of them doing the same stuff : Gulli's tech and extra technologies, maybe that cause some weirds interactions? Another solution is deactivate your mods one by one and testing if the game still crash.
