Modding custom empire help

Hey so im busy making a bunch of new custom empires from scratch but when I am modding or trying to edit some lines, I notice that if I want the heir to be of a certain phenotype, I have to eliminate all other codes for the other phenotypes to get that to work. Is it possible to keep all the different phenotypes in my custom empire while having your heir be of a specific phenotype?

Or is the heir trigger based on the species and pop scope and not the ruler scope? If someone can help me, that would be great. I just want some moddability availability for my ruler and heir, thanks!

well after a bit of self researching, I discovered that the heir code is intertwined with this code.

leader = { #scientists, generals, admirals, governor

What that means is that you cannot ever make your heir phenotype different from your scientists, generals, admirals and governors. Either your heir and scientists and generals have to be from a single phenotype or your heir has to be from many different available phenotypes. Which kind of sucks, I wish they would seperate the heir trigger from the others, kind of like how the ruler trigger is different.

Essentially, if you want to have your heir be a certain phenotype, then all the scientists, governors and generals will consequently be the same phenotype. If you want your generals and governors and etc to be from a diverse group of phenotypes, then you will have no control of your heirs phenotype....=/ feelsbad no moddability control
