Hi everybody.

As far as we know, CSL will be possible to mod in many ways, and on this forum it seems like many people are planning to do so. Myself, I would like to contribute to the game, but with no previous experience in modding, I'm not really sure where to start. For my part, it will mostly be adding buildings and other things to the game. I know that I will have to use a 3D software to actually create the buildings, but I don't know what specifications I should follow, or how to actually export something that could fit into the game.

Could anybody tell me (or make a tutorial of some sort) the steps we actually need to take? If this has already been written, could you please point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the reply.
I've created a lot of 3D models in Blender earlier, but that's it. I don't know what specifications this game demands for buildings, for example. Maybe someone could write a post and explain the big picture? What types of software do you need? What is UV mapping? How many polys, etc.

I have same experience as you worry.
but It's not so difficult for beginners to manipulate tools above. so you never need to worry.
also Blender has became more user friendly in current version than older ones.

I recommend you to just manipulate and create something you like even if you don't know enough.
when you finished some creations, you will be an adapt. and feel more interesting.
Then after several months, you'll be a creator.
