So I went in using the built-in editor, and, because of the direction an AAR I'm writing is going, I want to replace France's ARM 6 (M47 Patton), an American tank, with Germany's E-50 Standardpanzer. While the editor lets me change the model name, I don't see anywhere to change the graphic from the Patton to the Standardpanzer... Where can I go to edit this?

I don't know if you only want to change to picture of this division or if you want to change its appearance on the map. I've assumed that you'd like to change its sprite:

All sprite files are stored in the gfx/map/units sub-directory. (The actual .bmp files can be found in its bmp sub-directory.) In this sub-directory you'll see many .spr which are used to show in the right position and stance in the game. Search for spr. files which have a name like these: T-PANZER A-FIRE C-GER L-1 D-E.spr. This file handles the attack animation of the german model_0 armour. Check models.csv for the model number of the german E-50 and then try to find the corresponding german spr. file. (Since the E-50 sprite was never officially included in the game by Paradox you'll have to check the available sprite mods.) Copy all german .spr files of this model to another directory and rename them so that they now fit to the french (L-7) armour. If you copy them back and restart your game your french L-7 armour should like the german E-50.

i think what he was trying to ask was, under the Editor where the models section is, where you see the picture of the division, how to change it in the editor? Because im having the same issue... I want to add Division and Brigade pictures for North Korea and DDR as they are "existing" in my scenario but i cant figure how to give them there assigned division and brigade pictures. The only thing it lists in the editor is model_01 and u cant change it from the editor.
