Modding Iron Cross - low level

I have spent a few minutes exploring the various folder and files of the Iron Cross enhancement to AoD in an attempt to do some rather low-level modding. Specifically, I am looking for the new event messages so that I can correct the grammar on some of the worst ones (I guess I am just too anal to ignore the horrible English translations).

Also, I have read about the issue many players have had with the GDE and also wanted to tweak that as well so I wouldn't be locked in a 3 year war with Poland.

I have had some success in the past with low-level tweaks on HoI and AoD (mainly tweaking the misc file), but I cannot seem to locate the files I need to make some of the detail changes I would like.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to start looking for these specific items, or just advice in general about how best to tweak game deatails and features?

Depends on what you want to mod, events, flags, graphic

If your going the alt history route you want to do some research.

Hello;

We will release this night a "corrections pack" where the problems with GDE and some others are fixed.
For language, we want to do as well as possible, and we'll need a few days. In db folder you can found the events files.

I looked in the db folder and events file, but all I found were the standard AoD events like reoccupation of the Rhineland, etc. I was looking for the more random events like the Swiss banking system going ultra-secretive, etc.

Also, I would be more than willing to help in any way I can with proper translation to English. The English language is very wierd and contradictory with rules made to be broken, but I have a very firm grasp of the language and would love to help "dress it up" for English-speaking players (especially those from America).

1 - We are already working on English corrections
2 - the GDE has been fixed
