I wanted to create my own mod to play with the new units from Second Wave. But, the new units are not in the Divisions and Packs ndf files... Any ideas why they are not there? Or, where they might be? (just to save time, yes, i bought the dlc ;-) )

I was able to find the answer: Eugen does not allow modding of the DLC's... at least at this time. Which I can understand them not wanting the units in a paid for DLC to be modded. However, in my case, I just wanted to adjust the Decks and Phase Times, etc.; not being able to even do that seems a little harsh to me (imho) - just sayin'

You can try to change some stuff with Wargame Modding tools http://forums.eugensystems.com/viewtopic.php?f=187&t=42270 (scroll to 3. Tools for Modding and give it a try or ask someone for some tips),good luck ;).

I'm really disappointed about this. I was about to buy the DLC when I discovered it can't be modded, and I will not purchase it until that decision is changed. There's a large group of players in the Steam forums who agree.

I was foolish enough to order this without reading any user feedback on the Second Wave DLC. Now that I'm finally clear on Paradox/Eugen's stance on modding DLC divisions, I will no longer be purchasing any more divisions.

It sucks that they were not transparent on this matter, and did not inform anyone of their policy at the time of launch. This was only made clear by Eugen staff comments buried in their support forum.
