I'm using maya 15, I tested just throwibg a cylinder in scene and trying to load it and it does so that I knew imports worked. But if I try anything else, adjust the size etc, when I got into import in cities it shows the name of the file there but the model window is blank and i can't continue... what am I missing?

Does the building have to be a specific type, does the model of to be a specific size? I thought I checked around and i see tons of tutorials that breeze through it but no real explanation of anything other then it needing to be in meters? And I tried centered on ground and not center, grouped, ungrouped. Only thing that literaly worked was pulling out a random sized cylinder, saving it, and it shows. I used the coal power plant when doing it.
