As CK is nearing it's release it is time to think about possible modifications/improvements projects. One of the main areas of improvement is AI and i guess there is somekind of economy system also in CK that needs tweaking and ofcourse there are those pesky events.
But one thing we are missing is a good name for this project!
 
"Some Improvements to Crusader Kings" aka S.I.C.K. :)
 
I like the sound of a Treaty of Verdun scenario, in fact I was just now idly mapping out a potential British Isles setup with the help of the English Channel screenie.

A personal must - and probably quite easy to do - would be a 'Saxons-defeated-William' scenario.

Or "Saxons-defeated-by-Harald Hardråde"(the one who lost and died against the Saxons right before William defeated them).;)
 
Look at Victoria. VIP was started by the betas. So, it is clear that the betas are already working at such a project...

That would be interesting but I'm pretty sure William would have kicked Harald's arse if Harold hadn't dealt with William before heading north.

Bah, beating some exausted Vikings was no easy feat, imagine what some fully rested and savage ones could do! :D;) :p

What about - William arrives before Harald, gets his *rse kicked by Harold and then the survivor of the 'southern bout' is wrecked by Harald who manages to take control of at least all the old 'Danegeld' areas but probably leaves either Harold or William as dangerous contenders in the south?

A storm in the channel could have dispersed the navy and sunk most of it - leaving Harold as continued ruler (and if William would drown Harold would also be at least temporarily 'safe in the saddle')

Err...betas do have some advantage over casual palyer, but look at victoria right now.There are plenty of event writers for VIP(mainly betas), but very few ai and economy modders - mainly casual players, so i don't think that the hard work of starting a great improvement porject should rely only on beta's shoulders.
 
I'm just saying that it's useless to come up with a name, since it will already appear in a special sub-forum :)
 
Let's hope this is a perfect game that won't need improvement projects. :D

I don't think it was Betas that conceived of the EEP and the AGC. It certainly wasn't for the IGC. Nor for CORE.

If a good name is thought up, I don't see why it shouldn't be used.
