About the supply attached to the units you implemented.
I think it should be modified in one specific way.
In the 44 scenario, a human player should be able to reach Berlin even if cut from the supply dump, only with the oil/supply coming along the units.
Historically, there was a huge problem with supply after operation "Cobra".
My solution would be easy to implement:
A unit just embarked should left all its supply behind, except for 3 or 5 days.
This way, after a successfull beach-assault, the attacker would have to consolidate its holding and wait for the supply to come.
It is not realistic to download 1000s of tonne of supply when you are under fire. What you are looking for is to disembark enough firepower to clear a beach head.
