Hey,
I've downloaded CKII to my MacBook, and it ran ok (apart from flickering at the beginning of the game, and some crashes after several hours of continuos playing). I've recently decided to give the "A Game of Thrones" mod a shot. I've downloaded the mod through the respective thread in the forum, then extracted the file to the only folder that showed up as "Crusader Kings 2" in Finder. I ran the game, but the mod didn't show up (the mod list remained empty). I've tried a couple of other tricks, such as creating a mod folder in that folder (its path is /myusername/documents/paradox interavtice/crusader kings II), but that didn't help.
After a while, I've found out that the mod should be placed under '/application support/steam.....' but I couldn't even find that directory ('/application support' only showed me several apps, none of which I was familiar with). Ever since I've moved to Lion I've been having a hard time finding folders through browsing in Lion, and I think this might be the problem, but I'm no Mac buff, so I have no idea where to start with.
tl;dr
Where should I place mods in 10.7 and how do I find that folder?
EDIT: So after a bit of googling, seems that my Library folder was hidden. Thanks Apple!
I've found my way in there, but after copying the "A Game of Thrones" and the .mod file to the "mods" folder, the game now crashes on startup, even without the mod's checkbox checked.
