Mods stopped working for EU4 and CKIII

I'm playing on Mac and recently my mods for both EU4 and CKIII (but not Victoria 3, yet) have completely stopped working. They still show up in the launcher and can be selected with no warnings around them, however when I load the game up only the vanilla game runs, no matter the mods I choose. I went into my files and the mods seem to have dissapeared from them too despite still being visible on the launcher. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the mods and the games themselves, but the mods just won't download when I do.

Does anyone know what I can do?
