Hi starscream, I have had no issues with 1.4 and using 0.6 , then the latest 0.6.1 ModTek
The step by step instructions I used in the post prior, below may help (this was the original 0.6, but the same applies if you are updating to a newer ModTek.
You need to ensure you are cleaning older versions
trid a fresh install also it seems that steam region downloads in the uk are screwed trying again
@starscream have you tried doing a clean uninstall per Edmon's guide?

yep tried that also the steam update install in the uk is fritzed its missing the launcher now this just gets better
@unclecid going to try uninstalling then reinstaling from a different location and with a minor miracle that might work and if that still doesn't work going back to 1.3.2
finally got it fixed anyone in the UK change your download location i used the one in LA USA and that worked out
