Is the CK+ team planning on making any major changes to the Monks and Mystics DLC, like adding Sufi Orders or more Catholic orders?

The general answer to "what are you gonna do when this DLC comes out?" is "first priority is to update everything to work with it, which can take a few weeks, and then it'll depend on what we can do with it."

Concerning the importance of religion, M&M seem to be a bit superficial, and does not seem to understand sufficiently the deep influence of faith on all things at the time.
I'd love more calendar events - Paschae, Christmas, and so on - that were so important at the time.
And some pontifical edicts (for example concerning the interdiction of crossbows) - an edict that was more or less respected during 400 years !

Well that's unfair, you get to play MnM, while the rest of us have to wait.
I'm gonna wait till I can play with the expansion before passing judgement. The changes and additions do sound solid, but most things do on paper. Assume it'll also change checksum and make my current playthrough incompatable, but oh well. xD
The orders do have huge modding potential, but CK2+ does plenty enough to improve the game in my opinion. No need to add extra stuff if it's not planned by the team. Though if it is, that's pretty awesome too.

You can switch to "beta" branch called "something_262_old_something". That will keep the game at current version and it won't update so you can finish your current plus game.
Ah gotcha, thanks very much. Guessing that the 'old' version would work with the EU4 converter?
I have to be honest, like 60% of the excitement I get from CK2 updates these days is seeing what you guys end up doing with it.
The EU4 converter usually gets updated with EU4 rather than with CK2. I can't imagine that if there is any changes to the EU4C that they'd make much of a difference. Or in other words, you should be fine until EU4 gets updated to a full version ie DLC
