That would be appreciated a lot, thank you!
Then I will do that :).
All though I am currently playing more CK2 than Sengoku, so I might not be able to help as much.

But here are the three I have found since I read your post:

'caotic' should be '*chaotic'.
You might also want to say: '*can not help us to survive in this chaotic age', rather than 'can not help us for the survival over this chaotic age'. But that might just be me reading it wrong.

'*Sakyo no soku'
It's the fourth one in the Honour tooltip.

'*Building effect timer'
Maybe '*go to war' rather than 'go to a war'.

Thanks. The second one is a localization error. I thought it was fixed a year ago, but it seems it didn't. The third one is a hidden effect. I should add extra brackets.
Grammatical correction is always welcome. :)

Glad it doesn't bother anyone :).
And I'll just say it: if you don't want to change anything, don't do it. I am al ready glad I can play the mod :).

In stead of 'famnes' '*famine/hunger'.

Thanks! By making events, their effects are far mor important for me than the texts. The texts are just flavors in the sense of how the game works, and since English is always foreign language over 20 years for my tongue, I cant really care about it. Thats why some events lack the texts still.

It means, any help about texts is welcome!

Hello all

Got a gameplay question here. I'm not that familiar with most of Sengoku subtilities and was never able to do something worthy in the vanilla game, never had time to achieve something worthy, maybe because I'm a Shogun 2 player most of all, so I got this mod to try the Gempei campaign, so I will get more time and chose the Minamoto. In less than 75 years, on very easy, I almost got 20% of japan after an all out war with Oshu-Fujiwara and conquered all of eastern Japan, but all lot of my Kori's are revolting, when I check it says that I got a -20 penalty for owning too many Koris (they're my vassals Koris...), gee, I only own the 5 ones that I'm allowed to as my domain. Where does that penalty come from and how the heck am I supposed to win a game that implies conquering 50% of Japan if I have too many Koris when controlling only 20% of it, by the way, Tairas already control 35% of the island?

If your vassals own more than 5 kori, their provinces get high revolt risk. Give them Daimyo titles in order to allow them having 6- provinces.

As for the attack of Taira clan, use plots. Many neighbours of the Taira feel threaten, thus they will join your plot. Please also try to reduce the relation between the clan leader of the Taira and their vassals. They might also join your clan too.

Since I don't exactly know about your situation, please post again if you have still the problem. Some SS would be nice, too.

Hello chatnoir17 and thanx for answering

I effectively gave daimyo titles so my revolt risk is now at 2.0 in a handful of provinces. As for all the others who might feel threatened by the Taira I guess they also feel threatened by me...Most of other clan leader have an opinion of 21 toward me, so I'm trying to build it up, but I send them gifts and their opinion doesn't change. How long does it take between before beign able to send them a gift and raise their opinion ? Here is my situation:

I'm trying to sow dissent with a taira vassal but it seems to take years, I guess there is something I'm doing wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't increase relation multiply in a certain period. Use also "increase relation" command by your master.

Maybe you should have attacked the Taira during they were conquering their neighbors. You didn't need to occupy their all provinces. Just make a peace in a certain point, and wait for the next war. Of course you have a chance in the situation of the above SS.

And even if you can't win against the Taira, don't worry. In Sengoku, no one isn't guaranteed the victory. It is the nature of this game.

Hello chatnoir17,
First, thank you for this mod that I appreciate a lot, it helped me play longer in Sengoku.
I enjoyed it so much I'm allowed to translate entirely in French.
External links are prohibited, I would say only that the translated version may be two French sites:
Strategium and also Mundus Bellicus.fr

Guard the good work and we thank you again.

Bonjour chatnoir17,

Thanks! Good to see that this mod motivated you to translate the texts into another language.:)

I have to hand it to you chatnoir, it seems you're single handedly keeping Sengoku alive

if I may ask, are the event syntax of CK2 and Sengoku similar? if so, i might be able to practice/try making flavour events
also, I could also volunteer to help fix your english event text localisations, if you want and need the help.

incidentally, I've been curious for some time: あなたは日本人ですか?

Yes, the code is almost same in both games, although Sengoku is simpler. You can download the triggers, modifiers and other definitions in this sub forum.

Of course new events are always welcome! KAWADD and I am also planning to add events, so feel free to post here, or make your own add-on.

And yes, I am a Japanese. :)

Thanks for the advertising Chat! Love you

You really have kept this game going, and made a lot more fun; I honestly don't think I could bear not using MIH. Also, I welcome any new events and flavour-stuffs.

I was wondering, since KAWADD seems to still update and his mod increases the number of provinces, have you considered merging (or at the very least, adopting map changes)?
of course, if his map modifications are ... well, ahistorical (in terms of administrative divisions), then that would make some sense...

I don't think KAWADD's provinces are ahistorical. The problem is, however, he added too many provinces. :D MIH will have 10 scenarios, so if we add 1 province, we need to research a clan for that province between 1180 and 1600.

In addition, basically, I am not a great fan of the idea "more provinces, more fun". Johan said in his DD of EUIV,

A game map has to communicate a lot of information quickly, so first of all you need to be sure you can fit all the necessary graphical elements into the province.

Second, you need to have a rather convex shape of a province. If you don´t do this, you'll end up with all sorts of unintuitive thoughts when it comes to where units should move and how quickly.

Third, you need to bear in mind the number of connections a province has to neighboring territories. The number of neighbors is a crucial factor in military matters, and for game balance purposes.

Even if this is rather a defensive statement or legitimatizing for what he and his team has achieved, it makes sense.
