Sorry for the ignorant question, but is there any mods offering additional battlescenarios?
(Or is there even an option to mod restricted war theatres on cut map where bordering provinces are black and all irrelevant countries are switched off?)

yes of course you can do such things. But typically nobody will be playing it.
