Most up to date manual?

Okay, I've found far too many versions of the manual...

the steam version (SotS2_v1-2b_010612.pdf) <91 pages>
the one linked above in a sticky (SotS2-EOF_v1-0_301112.pdf) <45 pages>
one linked by the official site/support section (pdx6105us_sots_ii_onlinemanual_1.1.pdf) <89 pages>

I assume the second is the most up to date? But does it make sense to read the longer steam version first (i assume in this case length = somewhat more information) for a complete newbie?

Yes the but its probably just for EoF... Im guess (at 45pages)
Probably need the Steam one and the 2nd one.

Dont forget the Beginners Guide. Only v1.3. And more than just a beginners guide!

Those two make up the manual(s) for SotS2 so far.

Also as 2Coats pointed out there is also the 1.3 Beginners Guild (a bit out of date) 58 pages.
