the steam version (SotS2_v1-2b_010612.pdf) <91 pages>
the one linked above in a sticky (SotS2-EOF_v1-0_301112.pdf) <45 pages>
one linked by the official site/support section (pdx6105us_sots_ii_onlinemanual_1.1.pdf) <89 pages>

I assume the second is the most up to date? But does it make sense to read the longer steam version first (i assume in this case length = somewhat more information) for a complete newbie?

Yes the but its probably just for EoF... Im guess (at 45pages)
Probably need the Steam one and the 2nd one. :)

Dont forget the Beginners Guide. Only v1.3. And more than just a beginners guide!
