I've been playing a Roman game from the start to about 550. So far I've encountered several bugs. I apologize for the lack of screens and for the fact that I haven't attempted to reproduce them yet. Anywho, here we go...

1. Loyal Cohorts. A group of 10 cohorts are still loyal to the first dictator I had. He died several generations ago. The loyalty didn't pass to his heirs or go away.

2. Appoint New Envoy. It seems to revert back to the original envoy after I change it.

3. Barbarians. Sometimes when you make client states, the barbarians march around pointlessly. They'll march off with single cohorts into the abyss... or move a large stack into one of my provinces and just sit there.

and I'm also having the same problems mentioned everywhere else - i.e. research, blah blah blah.

I can confirm point 2 and 3
point 2 could be WAD though since it simply pics your highest charisma char.

Ahh I thought it appointed highest charisma but didn't think it was supposed to override my manual changes. Either way, WAD or not, point 2 gets a little annoying when I'm trying to throw disloyal guys to the wolves, so to speak. :p

Point 1 is logged, point 2 will remain WAD for the time being (we have things that are much higher priority although once we knock them off we may choose to redefine what is WAD) for point 3 can you supply a bit more information from your description it is not clear what you mean.

ad point 3

I let a horde of barbarians capture one of my northern provinces and chose to let them settle there (north east of Galia Cisalpina, cant recall the name atm). A new country was founded that was allied to me.
The thing is, most of the times this new country creates units, it sends them of wandering around the map (into barbarian lands or across my land after i give them access)
I twice followed their stack. They just went north and parked their army in a barbarian country (maybe taking a vacation at the North Sea? ;) )

They dont seem to follow any particular strategy and are actually just wasting their armies, which get eaten by barbarians sooner or later.

I've also seen point 3.

Basically the 'original' army (before a new horde takes over the client state) goes rogue. They march off a few provinces and just sit there, sulking I guess.

I agree point 2 should be low priority, but at some point in the future if you put a toggle to let the player lock in their diplomat choice. This would be really helpful when you are sending some buffoon to get himself killed in foreign lands with a botched assiniation attempt, in order to give yourself a Causus Belli against them.

Or, preferably, you could just give us a few more ways to get a CB. E.g. it would be nice to get a CB against the nation that just asassinated your consul.
